What Are Store Credits?

Store credits are a flexible alternative to cash refunds. When a customer is eligible for a refund, the value can be issued as store credits, which are added to the customer’s account. These credits can be used for future purchases on TeenRiver.


How Store Credits Work

  1. Issuing Credits:
    • When a refund is processed, the equivalent amount of the product’s value is added to the customer’s store credit balance.
    • Customers will be notified via email or SMS when credits are issued.
  2. Using Credits:
    • Store credits can be applied during checkout.
    • If the total purchase amount exceeds the store credit balance, customers can pay the difference using other payment methods.
  3. Tracking Credits:
    • Customers can view their store credit balance in their account dashboard.
    • Vendors can also track issued store credits through the vendor dashboard.

Refunds via Store Credits

  • Customers who prefer a cash refund should contact support and follow the refund policy guidelines.

Limitations of Store Credits

  • Store credits cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Credits are only valid for purchases made on TeenRiver.
  • Store credits do not expire.

How to Use Store Credits on the Site

  1. Log in to your TeenRiver account.
  2. Add items to your cart and proceed to checkout.
  3. Select “Use Store Credits” at the payment section.
  4. The store credit balance will be applied to the total amount due.
  5. Complete the transaction by paying any remaining balance using a preferred payment method.

Vendor Guidelines for Issuing Store Credits

  1. Navigate to the “Orders” section in your vendor dashboard.
  2. Select the order eligible for a refund and choose “Issue Store Credits.”
  3. Enter the correct amount and confirm.
  4. Notify the customer about the issued credits.
