This Shipping Guide explains how our delivery system works and how shipping costs are calculated.

1. How Our Shipping Works

TeenRiver uses a weight-based shipping system, meaning the total weight of all the items in your cart determines your delivery fee.
This method ensures:

Accurate delivery cost
No hidden charges
Better value when you buy more items

2. “The More You Buy, The More Value You Get”

Our shipping is designed so that adding more items to your order gives you better value.

Why?

Shipping companies charge us based on weight ranges.
For example:

Shipping 0.0 – 0.5 kg = fixed cost
Shipping 0.5 – 1.0 kg = next cost level
Shipping 1.0 – 1.5 kg = next cost level, and so on

So:

If you buy one item of 0.4 kg, you pay the same shipping fee as
Buying two items totaling 0.5 kg (same weight range)

This means you get more value in one order compared to multiple small orders.

3. Why You Should Check Item Weights

Every product on TeenRiver shows a weight.
Customers should always check the weight so they can:

Understand how shipping fees are calculated
Know the total weight added to their cart
Decide whether adding more items will still fall within the same shipping bracket
Avoid surprises during checkout

Example:
If the shipping cost changes at 1kg, and your cart is 0.8kg, you can still add items totaling 0.19kg without increasing the shipping fee.

4. Combined Weight Calculation

Shipping cost is based on the total weight of all items in your cart.

Example:

Product A – 0.4 kg
Product B – 0.6 kg
Total weight: 1.0 kg
Your shipping fee = the 1kg bracket

If you add something small like 0.05 kg and it stays within the range, the shipping price remains the same.

5. Delivery Time

Delivery time depends on:

Your location
Courier availability
Weight of the package

Standard delivery time within Liberia is 1–5 business days depending on distance.

6. Packaging

Your items are safely packed according to:

Their weight
Fragility
Shipping requirements

This is to ensure all products arrive in perfect condition.

7. Special Notes

Heavy or oversized items may have special shipping fees.
Shipping fees are shown clearly at checkout before you confirm your order.
Additional items added after checkout will require a new shipping fee.
