Welcome to TeenRiver! By registering as a vendor on our platform, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. These terms ensure a transparent, fair, and high-quality marketplace for both vendors and customers. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in penalties, suspension, or termination of your vendor account.

1. Vendor Eligibility

1.1 Vendors must register with accurate and complete information, including valid identification and, where applicable, proof of business registration.
1.2 Vendors must be at least 18 years old. Minors may register with parental or legal guardian consent.
1.3 Vendors must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction and for the products they list.

2. Product Listings and Quality Standards

2.1 Authenticity: All products must be genuine and free of counterfeit or replica materials.
2.2 Condition: Products must be new unless explicitly stated otherwise. Used or refurbished products must be accurately labeled.
2.3 Images and Descriptions: Vendors must upload clear, high-quality images and provide detailed, accurate product descriptions. Poor-quality images or misrepresentations are strictly prohibited.
2.4 Categorization: Products must be listed in the appropriate categories to ensure ease of discovery for customers.
2.5 Special Products: For items like flower bouquets or perishable goods, vendors must adhere to storage and handling requirements to maintain quality.
2.6 Vendors must regularly update their product listings to reflect accurate stock levels and pricing.

3. Pricing and Payments

3.1 Vendors are responsible for setting competitive and fair prices. Price gouging or manipulation is prohibited.
3.2 Payments for products sold will be processed by TeenRiver and remitted to vendors according to the payment schedule.
3.3 TeenRiver reserves the right to deduct commissions and applicable fees before disbursing payments to vendors.
3.4 In the event of refunds, disputes, or chargebacks, TeenRiver may deduct the relevant amounts from the vendor’s account.

4. Fulfillment and Delivery

4.1 Vendors are required to deliver products to TeenRiver’s appointed drop-off location within the agreed timeframe.
4.2 TeenRiver will handle shipping to customers after receiving products at the designated drop-off location.
4.3 For pick-up orders, customers will collect products from the designated TeenRiver drop-off point.
4.4 Shipping times depend on the product type and customer location, with processing delays subject to penalties.
4.5 Vendors failing to meet fulfillment deadlines or quality standards may incur a penalty fee of $10 USD per violation, subject to escalation for repeated offenses.

5. Customer Service

5.1 Vendors must promptly respond to customer inquiries or requests related to their products.
5.2 Vendors are required to cooperate with TeenRiver in resolving disputes, including refunds or exchanges.

6. Prohibited Activities

6.1 Misrepresentation of products, including falsified certifications or misleading descriptions, is prohibited.
6.2 Vendors may not list prohibited or illegal items as per TeenRiver’s guidelines.
6.3 Duplicate listings, spam content, or any activity that undermines the integrity of the marketplace is strictly forbidden.
6.4 Vendors may not contact customers directly for transactions outside the TeenRiver platform.

7. Penalties and Account Suspension

7.1 TeenRiver reserves the right to impose penalties for violations, including but not limited to fines, removal of listings, or account suspension.
7.2 Severe violations may result in permanent account termination.

8. Vendor Responsibilities

8.1 Vendors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their product information, compliance with local laws, and adherence to TeenRiver’s policies.
8.2 Vendors must maintain a professional and respectful attitude toward customers and TeenRiver staff.

9. Liability and Indemnity

9.1 TeenRiver is not liable for any damages, losses, or disputes arising from the vendor’s operations.
9.2 Vendors agree to indemnify and hold TeenRiver harmless against any claims, damages, or legal actions related to their products or activities.

10. Termination of Agreement

10.1 TeenRiver reserves the right to terminate vendor accounts for repeated or severe violations of these terms.
10.2 Vendors may terminate their account with prior written notice, provided all pending obligations are fulfilled.

11. Policy Updates

TeenRiver may revise these terms at any time. Vendors will be notified of changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
