TeenRiver is committed to ensuring the highest quality standards for products and services offered on our platform. This Vendor Quality Requirements policy outlines the expectations, standards, and responsibilities that all vendors must adhere to in order to maintain a fair and reliable marketplace. To ensure consistency, our policy aligns with global marketplace standards, with adjustments tailored to TeenRiver’s specific priorities.

1. Vendor Eligibility

1.1 Vendors must register with accurate and complete information, including valid identification and proof of business registration where applicable.
1.2 Vendors must comply with all local, national, and international laws related to their products and operations.

2. Product Quality Standards

2.1 Authenticity: All products listed must be genuine, with no counterfeit or replica items permitted.
2.2 Condition: Products must be new unless explicitly stated otherwise. Used or refurbished items must be accurately labeled and meet quality standards.
2.3 Packaging: Items must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
2.4 Updates: Vendors must regularly update their product listings, including accurate and high-quality images, to reflect current stock and ensure consistency.
2.5 Categorization: Products must be listed in the correct categories, with detailed and well-presented descriptions to assist customers in making informed decisions.
2.6 Special Products: Vendors offering items like flower bouquets or perishable goods must ensure they meet storage and handling standards, and include clear instructions for maintaining product quality.

3. Compliance and Safety

3.1 Vendors must ensure that their products comply with safety standards and regulations, including certifications where applicable.
3.2 Items must not pose health or safety risks to customers.
3.3 TeenRiver reserves the right to reject products that do not meet these compliance standards.

4. Fulfillment and Shipping Requirements

4.1 Vendors must deliver products to TeenRiver’s appointed drop-off location within the specified timeframe to ensure prompt order processing.
4.2 All shipping to customers will be managed by TeenRiver after products are dropped off at designated locations. Vendors will be notified of the appointed drop-off point for their region.
4.3 For customers opting for pick-up services, products will be collected from TeenRiver’s appointed drop-off location.
4.4 Shipping times depend on product type and customer location, following order processing.
4.5 Delays in delivery must be communicated promptly, and repeated delays may result in penalties or account suspension.
4.6 Vendors who fail to meet fulfillment requirements may incur a penalty fee of $10 USD per delayed or incomplete order. This fee is subject to adjustment based on repeated violations or the severity of the breach.

5. Customer Service

5.1 Vendors are required to provide accurate product descriptions and promptly address customer inquiries regarding their listings.
5.2 Vendors must cooperate with TeenRiver in resolving disputes or complaints related to their products.

6. Prohibited Practices

6.1 Misrepresentation of products, including falsified certifications or misleading descriptions, is strictly prohibited.
6.2 Price gouging or unreasonable pricing practices are not allowed.

7. Monitoring and Compliance

7.1 TeenRiver reserves the right to review vendor listings and request documentation to verify compliance with quality standards.
7.2 Vendors found in violation of this policy may face account suspension, removal of listings, or permanent bans.

8. Termination of Agreement

8.1 TeenRiver reserves the right to terminate vendor accounts for non-compliance with this policy or other platform regulations.
8.2 Vendors may terminate their relationship with TeenRiver with prior written notice, provided all pending obligations are fulfilled.

9. Policy Updates

TeenRiver may revise this policy at any time. Vendors will be notified of changes, and continued use of the platform signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
